About WiseBuyerDesk

WiseBuyerDesk is a small, independent publication that reviews products sold online. I started it because a lot of direct-response marketing pages (the kind you land on from an ad) are built to persuade first and inform second. My job is to slow that down: read the actual offer, check what can be checked, and write down what I find.

My Review Process

For each product I cover, I look at the seller's own product page and marketing copy, the ingredient list or technical specification where one is published, the price and any subscription or auto-ship terms, the stated refund and return policy, and publicly available complaints or discussion about the product or the seller. I do not run laboratory tests, and I say so; my reviews are a structured reading of public information, not a clinical evaluation.

What I Do Not Do

I do not sell any product on this site. I do not manufacture, warehouse, pack, or ship anything. I do not process payments or handle customer orders — that happens entirely on the merchant's own site after you follow a link from mine. I do not accept payment from a brand in exchange for a favorable review, and when an offer looks weak I say that plainly.

How the Site Makes Money

Some of the links in my reviews are affiliate links: if you click through and buy something, the merchant may pay me a commission. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not change what I write. Full details are on my affiliate disclaimer page.

Corrections

If you spot an error in a review, or a merchant's offer has changed since I wrote about it, tell me through the contact page and I will look into it.
